Live from the summer camp
Hello there,
we are now for the third day in Middelkerke. Everything is very fine here. Even the weather changed and it's sunny.
On Monday we played many games to get to know each other. At the end of the evening we knew almost all names and off course also some funny things (who has smelly feet, who can't start the day without a cup of coffee,...).
Yesterday we went to discover Middelkerke by means of a photo rally. Afterwards we played some games on the beach and we worked around the theme of Europe. We've done a brainstorm session about Europe and we even tried to define 'European citizenship' by means of a discussion game. Later more games at the beach followed: we learned some Belgian and Bulgarian games. And in the evening we enjoyed ourselves playing some board games, listening to music, learning each other our language (or at least some sentences and expressions).
Today started with a game about intercultural learning: blueland - yellow land. It seemed it wasn't too difficult to find the most important rules and ways of living from the other culture. Tonight we will have the international evening. But first there is a free afternoon at the beach (where every country can prepare the international evening).
